Spent the day with Steven, he is awesome. He bought me a beautiful mirror, a white table cloth, 2 tarnished creamers, and a pair of vintage earrings. Then we went to McKinney to sell our wares.

We were successful and I only spent half of what I earned. 6 white ceiling tiles with lots of detail, 1 unique vintage picket from an old fence, a cool tarnished bowl for Steve's keys, and a small lamp shade frame.
Steve & I met up with Ella Elaine and her husband. Sharing stories of found treasure.

One last picture of Christmas before we put  it away.

Christmas decorations 2010 in Texoma

The hutch that we brought from North Dakota. We are thinking about using the ceiling tiles next to the hutch like Wainscoting ,what do you think?

I kept asking for a music stand to use during our family worship time and of course this is what I got for Christmas rusty but nice.

The old cabinet that was rescued from the curb all dressed up for Christmas.

Christmas at the Harris house

Christmas this year meant a new look for the girls

Caitlynds room is a throw back to the 70's. We should have taken pictures before we started so you could see the total transformation, it really is a big change. You can see we still need to install the door. Peace out man.
Brittany's room on the other hand is teenage elegance.
The room is bright even when the lights are off.

Another Day in Paradise!

We traveled to see our Junk Guy, oh I mean: Treasure Guy. We found an awesome white porcelain sink, with a built-in drain board. That would look Fantastic! in our lake house. My Husband was complaining about it, but he is very sweet and took it to our lake house, where he detached the rusty old base with a hack-saw, it was no easy task. Later he will hook it up for me.

Guess what else we found! Another Garage Sale, imagine that! There we found a white chippy vanity with a mirror. When I told the man that I wanted it he laughed. I told him I wasn't the only one that would want it and I was right. As we were getting ready to load our antique vanity a lady came that was intrested in it too. So sorry, so we loaded into our suburban and away we went.

Trip to Tuskahoma

We recently took a trip to Tuskahoma Oklahoma and along the way just had to stop and take pictures of these sites

Not so simple yard sale

Last weekend we stopped at what seemed to be a simple little yard sale, well it turned out this lady had three old buildings that she let us go through that were full of boxes, barrels, suite cases, and just piles of stuff. I think we spent about 6 hours sifting through all the stuff , and left with a car full of fantastic treasures . We are returning again this week to pickup our vintage pedestal bathtub we found laying in the yard.

A diamond in the rough for 20 bucks, with a little scrubbing , ready to install.
