Wait till you see

Isn't this amazing! I'm not sure you can see it but there is an awesome cottage green peeking out from under the chipping white paint. Steve will be cutting the whole in the wall so this beauty can take it's rightful place in the laundryroom.

I don't iron anything but this built-in vintage ironing board was calling to me. I have the original board but it desperately needs to be recovered.

We are so happy. Steve and I have been sharing PLASTIC drawers for the past 2 years. Now we can share a dresser. I almost hesitated getting this, you know that is a huge mistake when you find something this cute.

Calling all friends

I am looking for a gently loved White leather couch. I am also looking for gently loved brown or black leather chair or chairs. And last but not least we need reclaimed lumber. We are remodeling our dblwide into a vintage house and we need all the HELP we can get.  Thanks, you can leave comments on this post and we will get back to right away!

Master bathroom update

It's obvious that we are not done but it has come a long way. I am painting the walls "milk glass". Can you tell the walls are blue? We still need to put up the rest of the tiles and moulding. I am on the hunt for the perfect lights to go over the sinks. You can't see them but there are 2 round, white mobile home standards hiding behind that glow. We found an old louvered door (missing the upper louvers) to cover the linen/stuff closet that Steve add for me. Any ideas for filling in the open space at the top of the door?

Dead batteries again

Steven used the camera and now the batteries are dead. I have new pictures to show you that I can't get to.
 I have a lot done in the house and I can't wait to show you.

Steve and I went shopping today. I found an awesome white light for my office, I found 2 light parts that I married for the laundry room and a light for the little girls room.

Hopefully tomorrow I can post the pictures.

We'll this is what my store counter turned kitchen island looks like all cleaned up. We added the tin to the unfinished end that must have been against the wall.  Look back to find the before picture.

New dress

I found this dress for the girls. I thought it would be great for the Valentine's dance.

These are the tins we picked up in Mckinney, TX. They were originally to go into the guest bath. I'm happy we decided to put them in the entry way. The treatment on the wall above is kraft paper. I used this to cover-up the damaged drywall. I still need to primer and paint the walls and mouldings.

We had a wall in really bad shape in our laundry room so we are installing beadboard. I'm sure I will paint it white or some version of white.
